The charming Vienna Mozart Orchestra returns to Riga

Close to Christmas Eve, December 18th, the famous Vienna Mozart Orchestra returns to Riga. It will be an unforgettable musical evening, which will bring to life the charm and elegance of XVIII-century Vienna. The concert will take place at the Xiaomi Arena, where 30 virtuoso musicians dressed in period costumes will perform the most famous compositions of the brilliant Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

The Vienna Mozart Orchestra was founded in 1986 with the aim of uniting the most outstanding musicians of Viennese orchestras and chamber music ensembles. For more than thirty years, it has been captivating listeners around the world with its brilliant interpretation of the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The orchestra’s musicians are united by a common goal – to preserve the musical traditions and cultural heritage of Vienna, dedicating themselves to the development of symphonic chamber music of the Viennese classicism era.

At the same time, it will not be a stiff classical music concert. The performances of the Vienna Mozart Orchestra are designed to immerse the listener in an exciting cultural adventure – the musicians perform in authentic historical costumes and wigs, creating the feeling that the concert guests have found themselves in the world of the 18th century aristocracy. This musical and visual experience will allow you to feel the luxury of the Vienna Golden Hall and the State Opera right here in Riga.
